Standard Assessment Tests (also known as SATs) take place in Primary School, commonly in Year 2 and Year 6. We can cover preparation for SATs at Target Tuition.

SATs can help parents and teachers to see how students are progressing in comparison to their peers within the same school, as well as a nationally. As well as being used to measure levels of progress, they can help to identify areas where additional help may be required. They are an indicator of progress made from KS1 to KS2. They can also be used to aid transition from KS2 to KS3 as they can be used by secondary schools to place students into sets for Maths and English.
