11+ tests for entry into Grammar Schools include assessment of Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal Reasoning and Spatial Reasoning. All of these are covered at Target Tuition in preparation for the Kent and Medway Tests.

Students can thrive in both academic and personal development regardless of which secondary school they attend. For those that are suitable for a Grammar School setting, we want to ensure they are as prepared as can be for the 11+ tests.

There are multiple elements to preparation for 11+ but we have it all covered and will identify specific areas where extra attention is needed for each student, whether its maths problem solving with worded questions or any of the reasoning types.

For English, we cover comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar as well as focus on building vocabulary.

In keeping with the appropriate preparation, we will:

• Teach topics within each of the listed categories and practice with Exam style questions.
• Place emphasis on speed as well as accuracy to become familiar with working in timed conditions.
